Hi, I’m Aleksandra Dynaś. Or just Ola.
I’ve been traveling solo since I was 15. So far, I’ve visited around 60 countries and lived in 7 of them.
I love coffee, chocolate, ice cream, and sushi.
I have two tattoos.
I speak 4 languagues.
I studied Finance, International Relations and Photojournalism.
I worked for polish ex President- Lech Wałęsa.
I was selected by Canon to participate in the Canon and Magnum Program for Young Photographers and Photojournalists in France.
My work has been exhibited in Spain and Poland, and one of my photos reached the semi-finals in the College Photographer of the Year competition.
The portrait of a Mexican girl I did in Mexico has been recognized with honorable mentions in two photography contests- ND Awards and Chromatic Awards.
I’m also a speaker and regularly give talks about travel, photography, and courage.
My photographs have been published in El País, La Vanguardia, 5W, El Periódico, National Geographic, and El Nacional.
I also photograph social issues.
I won different awards and I participated in international programs for photographers.
I’m a Member of NoSinFotografas, This is Reportage: Familiy and a polish biggest organization of professional photographers ZPAF.
I’m a guest in podcasts and festivals where I talk about photography and traveling alone as a woman.
I believe there is nothing more extraordinary than life itself — and photography is the only thing that helps us to preserve the past.
